Installing CDBurnerXP on all the computers in your network using group policies (GPO)
Prepare CDBurnerXP Files
Download the latest CDBurnerXP msi file from:
http://download.cdburnerxp.se/msi/
Customise CDBurnerXP
You can also add the following key to the user's profile to prevent the language selection dialog box from appearing:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Canneverbe Limited\CDBurnerXP]
"DefaultLanguage"="System.String:en-US"
Deploy CDBurnerXP
Copy the msi to your deployment share, and add the msi to the software deployment GPO.
Troubleshooting
No Compatible Drives detected
I found that if the chipset / IDE / SATA drivers are not installed (you are using the Microsoft standard drivers) the burner may not be detected. This can be fixed by deploying the drivers to your workstations. I use the pnputil program (Vista/7 only) to deploy drivers via the network. - See notes here for more info http://www.bdts.com.au/tips/49-windows-server/138-deploy-drivers-to-windows-7.html
