This error can occur after you have created a new DFS member. It usually indicates latency in AD replication. 

You can force the DFS system to poll active directory  by typing this command at the command prompt:

dfsrdiag PollAD

Note: this command is case-sensitive (it needs to have a capital P and AD)

You should then see the message "Operation Succeded"

Now, check the event log, and the replicated shared folder, you should see the error resolved, and the folder should begin replicating
